We invite authors to submit a proposal for a position paper. A position paper presents an arguable opinion about an issue. The goal of a position paper is to convince the audience that your opinion is valid and worth listening to, without the need to present completed research work and/or validated results. It is, nevertheless, important to support your argument with evidence to ensure the validity of your claims. A position paper may be a short report and discussion of ideas, facts, situations, methods, procedures or results of scientific research (bibliographic, experimental, theoretical, or other) focused on one of the conference topic areas (http://www.acc-rajagiri.org/CallPapers.html). The acceptance of a position paper is restricted to the categories of "short paper" or "poster", i.e. a position paper is not a candidate to acceptance as "full paper". Undergraduate and graduate students are particularly encouraged to submit position papers.

A well-known example for a position paper is Carr, Nicholas G. (2003): IT Doesn’t Matter, in: Harvard Business Review, Vol. 81, No. 5, pp. 41-49.

• Position papers must be focused on one of the conference topic areas.
• Submissions must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in any other conference, journal, book, or workshop.
• The conference will not accept technical research papers under position paper category.
• Positions papers must follow Springer author guidelines. Authors can confirm the Springer Author Guidelines at the following web page: LNCS Format.
• Submissions must be in English and are limited to 10 pages (no additional pages are allowed) including all text, references, appendices, and figures.
• Camera ready copy will utilize the same format and length limits required of submissions and, thus, your submission should reflect the form that you anticipate your camera ready copy will take.
• Papers must be submitted electronically through EDAS (http://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=9485 ).
• The deadline for position paper submission is February 25, 2011.
• Each submission will be reviewed by the Program Committee.
• All the accepted position papers will be published in the conference proceedings.The proceedings of the conference will be published by Springer in the series of Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS)

Acceptance

Upon notification of acceptance, all authors of accepted papers will be asked to complete Springer Copyright form and will receive further instructions for preparing camera ready versions. At least one author of each accepted position paper is expected to attend the conference, and by submitting a position paper, the authors commit to having at least one author attend should the paper be accepted. Accepted papers for which no author commits to attend will be withdrawn from the conference proceedings.
